Learning to paint and draw is about understanding how to really see what you're looking at, applying art principles and then putting in the practice. The hardest part can often be in getting going, or overcoming inner feelings of anxiety, confusion, or that you have no talent for art at all. I believe everyone who wants to paint and draw, can, and my passion and skills are in bringing out that inner artist, especially in those who struggle in groups settings, lacking in confidence, anxiety, or have any other blocks to creativity. ​
My love of art goes back to childhood and I've been a professional artist tutor with the SAA since 2006 offering 1:1 tuition. Past students have commented on my gentle nature, guiding, encouraging and supporting their learning in a safe and relaxed environment. They also say they haven't laughed so much in ages!!​

Art Tuition Charges
One-to-One bespoke tuition in Cheddar tailored to your individual needs in acrylic, gouache, mixed media, pencil or watercolour.
1 hr - £40
2 hours - £80
Day workshop 10-4 including lunchbreak £240

Wherever you are on your art journey, even a complete beginner, 1:1 tuition with Jayne will give you individual attention so you can learn exactly what you need, at your own pace, safely in the knowledge that you are being taught by a fully-trained therapist who can support you should any blocks stand in the way of your creativity.

LOCATED IN CHEDDAR GORGE, SOMERSET
Tuition is held in Jayne's home studio which is only a two minute walk from Cheddar Gorge caves, cafe's and shops. There is free parking directly outside the studio. As the focus will be on connecting to your individual artists style and voice, you will need to bring your own art materials with you, which will allow you to continue working at home. Help will be given on choosing what materials are right for you should you require this.
